Our Story
Since 1991, Partners in Housing Transition has provided basic home furnishings for formerly homeless families, helping them to turn a barren space into a home filled with hope. Thanks to your donation of furniture in the past, you have helped us meet this challenge.
Families are referred to us by our Partner agencies who help them to build new lives for their children.

IN 2015, we provided furniture to 108 families with 265 children at an estimated value of over $100,000.
We are always in need of additional furnishings. In particular, we have limited supplies of dressers, dining tables & chairs, pots & pans, beds, sheets and towels. We use cash donations to buy additional beds to get children off the floor.
Partners in Housing Transition has been helping formerly homeless families achieve self-sufficiency by providing basic home furnishings since 1991. Families are referred to Partners by our partner agencies. These
agencies also provide case workers who mentor families as they build their new lives.
