Entry is free!  Carnival rides are free!  Zoomobile is free!  Petting zoo is free!

What Can I Expect?

Each year, the Animal Fair attracts hundreds of pet lovers, families, and folks looking for a fun afternoon out in Kalamazoo.

This year, in addition to rides for the kids, we’ll have the Animal Oasis Petting Zoo, and the Binder Park Zoomobile with various programs running through the afternoon.

Come down at any time between 2 and 5, and you’ll be sure to find something exciting going on.

See the flyer here — or let us know you’ll be at this fun event by clicking the “Going” button on our Facebook event!

Bring the Family — Pets Included!

Animal Fair Carnival RidesSt. Luke’s provides a pet blessing booth at every Animal Fair event.  We regularly hear stories at the Animal Fair about how meaningful people’s pets are to them in their lives.

But not just pets, either:  We’ve had visitors bring working animals and livestock in the past.

Our blessing is a way of acknowledging the importance of animals — and of all God’s creation — in our lives.

Why’s the Fair Free?

Petting ZooThe Animal Fair is a way that we give back to the community: There are many great events and activities in Kalamazoo, but taking part in them — especially bringing the whole family — can be costly.

We feel it’s important for this event to be free to let everyone participate.

If you’ve never had a chance to see an alpaca up close, or watch a camel react to it’s own reflection in a pane of glass, or chase a tortoise at a snail’s pace, the Animal Fair’s the event for you!

I Can’t Wait!

Neither can we!  We look forward to the Animal Fair year round.

We’ll keep posting updates here at St. Luke’s Web site, and at the Animal Fair facebook event page.  If you’ll be coming, let us know!

How Can I Get Involved?

If you have a local non-profit or business that provides services to animals or their owners, and you’d like to have a table or other presence at the event, please contact St. Luke’s. If you’re otherwise interested in partnering with us on this year’s Animal Fair or future events, let us know.

Tortoise ChaseThe Animal Fair is the only event in the city we know of that brings such a variety of exotic animals.
